LILLU is a combinable tiny house. It can be combined with another when your needs increase. It can grow with you.
THE PROJECT is two fold: it is clearly a building challenge, but it is also an attempt to understand and resolve contradictions in the spaces we inhabit.
What's the use of a homeless home... A complex conundrum; the first question often asked becomes a necessary revelation. Why build at all, if not on particular land? Is "home" specific land + specific structure? Home is where the heart is?
My heart is on the moon. And on the sea. And amidst wildflowers. And next door to you.
THE PERSON is an urban creature who anxiously looks for an absence of urbanity. I am lonely without company, yet I long for solitude. I fully exploit the convenience of the city but I romanticize the hardships of life without that convenience. I thrive through community and am a nomad at heart. I create, and live by, that spatial contradiction.
